HBAid implements the programs of EU Aid Volunteers (EUAV) as a consortium partner. The EUAV initiative provides a good opportunity to collaborate the European citizens and the communities who suffer in humanitarian crisis. In numbers: the project provides the opportunities for 4 thousand European citizens to volunteer in a country outside the continent, and in addition it offers online job for around 10 thousand volunteers. The goal of the applications is to give technical assistance to the participating European NGOs, who would send or welcome volunteers in a country outside of Europe. HBAid has been continuously working together with volunteers since its establishment, which was 20 years ago, in the realization of domestic and foreign programs and relief efforts. Therefore, the EUAV programs offer an excellent opportunity to the aid organization to mobilize financial resources and train volunteers. The EUAV program is coordinated by Zsuzsanna BACZKÓ, member of HBAid’s international team, under the management of Mr GÁL.
